We were so pleased that we chose Henry Construction & Design to undertake the full renovation of our home. Nick Henry’s industry experience and knowledge is beyond compare. There was always a solution for any problem or difficulty that may have presented itself.
Nick is a perfectionist and his attention to detail is impressive. He kept a tight reign on the other trades and any minor issues were immediately identified and corrected.
The whole process was very straight forward and seamless. It was very easy to place our trust in Nick at every stage of the process and his integrity and honesty are beyond reproach. At the end of each week we were fully informed what was in store for the following week and Nick was always there to guide us through with what was happening along the way.
The spreadsheet that Nick provided gave us a running total of costs for each fortnight and of all costs to date. Our renovation project came in within budget despite us requesting additional works along the way. We were absolutely delighted with the end result of our renovations and for Nick’s valuable contributions and input along the way. We would have no hesitation in using his services in the future or recommending him and his company to any future clients whether they are considering a renovation or new build.

Nick built a car port (not your usual carport) with laundry and store room at the rear at our home in Witta. Our comments regarding his work are as follows:
Our meetings with him were attended as scheduled. His time frames were agreeable to us and he kept to them. He always answered his phone or rang back shortly after. His contract documentation was detailed and accurate. His building work was impeccable. His attention to detail was impeccable. He cleaned the site continually. His subcontractors were clearly instructed and did their work to his level (except for one small instance which I will refer to below). His subcontractors commented to us on a number of occasions “Nick would want us to do this, this way” meaning they were required to do things in a particular way, that is a quality way.
R.e. number 8 above, we had 2 concrete pours. The first was fine. The second concrete pour (undertaken by another contractor) had issues. The end result was fine. This was not Nick’s fault but we make the comment for the sake of completeness.
And now the big test “would we use him again ?” Absolutely !!
We have another job coming up in the New Year and Nick is happy to do it.
